Environmental & Sustainability Pledge

As a responsible business, we pledge to minimize our environmental impact, promote sustainability in all our operations, and contribute towards a greener and healthier planet.

We recognise the significant impact our industry has on the environment and the importance of sustainability in ensuring the health and well-being of our planet and future generations. Therefore, we pledge to take the following actions to reduce our environmental impact and promote sustainability:

  1. Reduce our carbon footprint by implementing energy-efficient practices, including the use of renewable energy sources, such as solar and wind power, and reducing energy consumption through building design and construction.

  2. Minimise waste by implementing a comprehensive waste management system that includes reducing, reusing, and recycling materials where possible and ensuring that any waste generated is disposed of safely and responsibly.

  3. Encourage sustainable transportation by promoting alternative transportation options, such as cycling and public transport. As the business grows we intend to utilise an electric vehicle fleet.

  4. Prioritise the use of environmentally friendly materials and products, such as low-emission materials and sustainably sourced packaging.

  5. Educate our employees and stakeholders on the importance of sustainability and encourage them to adopt sustainable practices in their personal and professional lives.

  6. Continuously monitor and evaluate our environmental impact and sustainability practices, and seek to improve our performance through ongoing research and development.

By taking these actions, we pledge to reduce our environmental impact and promote sustainability in our industry and business practices, making a positive contribution to the health and well-being of our planet and future generations.

Reducing Carbon

Reducing carbon in our business activities is a crucial step towards achieving sustainability goals and combating climate change. Here is our strategy:

  • Conduct a carbon footprint assessment helps identify the main sources of carbon emissions in our business activities. It helps identify where we focus our efforts to reduce carbon emissions.

  • Based on the results of the carbon footprint assessment, we have set ambitious yet achievable targets to reduce the business's carbon emissions. The targets are measurable, time-bound and aligned with the Paris Agreement's goal of limiting global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius.

  • We are a paper-free business and do not use paper for any of our processes, except when mandated by external parties.

  • Implement energy-efficient practices in our business activities, such as using energy-efficient lighting, heating and air conditioning systems, and equipment. Use of Solar Power at the companies premises.

  • Business travel is a significant contributor to carbon emissions. Therefore we encourage video conferencing and remote working to reduce travel. We use low-emission transportation modes, such as public transport, electric vehicles or cycling when possible.

  • Encourage employees to adopt sustainable practices, such as turning off lights and equipment when not in use, and using reusable containers.

  • Source sustainable materials for your business activities, such as recycled or sustainably sourced paper, biodegradable packaging, and eco-friendly cleaning products.

  • Collaborate with our suppliers to reduce carbon emissions in our supply chain. We choose suppliers that share our sustainability goals and are committed to reducing their carbon footprint.

  • Monitor progress towards carbon reduction targets and report regularly on your business's carbon footprint and sustainability performance. This helps identify areas for improvement and provides transparency to stakeholders.

Our Journey to Net Zero

As a new business we are able to avoid a carbon footprint rather than reduce it.

During the planning of our business from concept stage it has been a key requirement to avoid carbon production and use in our processes.

We intend to maintain our paper free approach, limit travel to an absolute minimum and only take on company premises that can achieve our goals.

We have already identified key areas where we can also assist our clients reduce the embodied carbon in the products that we provide.

Key areas which are needed to improve globally are low carbon steel production and the electrifying of sea and road freight. Where these technologies are behind our requirements we can offer carbon offsetting for the difference.
